UCO Bank's Video KYC (Video-based Customer Identification Process, V – CIP) allows you complete full KYC remotely through a secure, real-time video interaction with an authorised bank official and no branch visit required. The process is regulatory compliant, secure, and designed to deliver a fast and seamless onboarding experience.

Who Can Use Video KYC?
•Individuals opening an eligible savings account (and other supported account types).
•Must have:
•Aadhaar (linked with mobile number)
•PAN
•Active mobile number used during account opening
•Customer must be present in India at the time of the video session (geo-location/IP verified).

•Aadhaar and PAN (original documents during video call)
•Smartphone with front camera, stable internet, and good lighting
•Blank white paper & pen (for signature during the call)
How It Works
1) Start Your Account Opening Journey
•You can schedule and complete your VKYC journey after filling up all the required details in the Online Account Opening link
2) Upload & Schedule Video KYC
•Upload Aadhaar, PAN, photograph, and signature (sign on blank paper and capture).
•Ensure a stable internet connection; keep your front camera unobstructed.
•Schedule your session instantly or choose a preferred slot (within 3 working days).
•You'll receive an SMS with your unique V - CIP ID and the secure link.
3) Join the Video KYC Session
•Access the secure link at your scheduled appointment time to begin the Video KYC process.
•Provide your consent to proceed. Please note that the session will be recorded and stored securely in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
•An authorised bank official (Maker) will conduct a live interaction with the customer to complete the Video KYC journey.
•After the interaction, an authorised bank official (Checker) will carry out due diligence and verify the submitted documents as well as the recorded session. Upon successful verification, the customer’s account will be generated.
•After the Checker completes the verification process, an SMS is being provided to the customers in order to provide them their account verification status.
